• Snazzy and energetic
• Simplistic arrangements, especially in the breakdown
• Creative and melodic drop
Past Friday saw the release of yet another refreshing tune for this summer, none other from the talented Italian natives Maximals. This time, they have joined forces with the up and coming con-nationals PØP CULTUR. Both of these artists are known for their distinctive productions, and their latest work is no less of a feat. Named as “All Of Me”, this shuffling and well-composed song has been released in the leading electronic label of Protocol Recordings.
Before we digress to the features of this particular record we are talking about today, a brief recap would be certainly helpful. Earlier this year, Maximals revealed their striking EP “Up & Down”, once again proving their dexterity when it comes to creating music. Previous month, they gave their own creative twist to “Ring The Alarm”, from Dutch luminary Nick Romero and leading Frenchman David Guetta. On the other hand, PØP CULTUR have been steadily rising in the industry, their preceding work “Constellations” is a breezy and alluring Future House track, consisting of sonorous synths and catchy vocal presence.
Talking about “All Of Me”, the intro takes up to the breakdown in a snazzy tone, as the breakdown cues in with animated synth sounds. The chirpy tone is further enhanced with a charming vocal snippet coming in. Without much complexity, the drop kicks in with a structure Maximals are familiarizing themselves lately. Embedded with a stab-y bassline, another ricocheting and chiming lead synth adds to the rhythm and groove. Presence of percussion emanates even more cadence to the beat. While embedded with lesser components, it does the job quite neatly and efficaciously!
To sum up in a few words, “All Of Me” is adhering to the expected arrangements, delivering an upbeat and dynamic work!
