• A deadly combination of 3 Big Room veterans
• A sort of “revenge” from the disappointment of “Raver Dome”?
This is huge news for all Big Room lovers out there: “This Is Our Legacy” is finally out on Rave Culture! The collaboration consists of the Breda duo W&W teaming up with Sandro Silva and Justin Prime. The trio crafted a deadly festival weapon with oldschool sounds and classic elements of the genre, which has been premiered in the 20XX Livestream by W&W a few months ago.
Both Willem and Wardt had worked with Sandro Silva on ‘Wizard Of The Beats’, while Justin Prime, after “Neutron” and “Ninja” on Rave Culture, had established his own festival label, Nex Chapter, Big Room-oriented as well. Clearly, there is a gap in the market, isn’t it?
This year, Rave Culture had expanded the market and given a lot of opportunity to multiple festival music. They had signed numerous new artists such as NIVIRO, ZAXX, Olly James and the recent release of ‘Periphery’ by Jungle Terror act, Wiwek.
So, let’s introduce our track!
The duo sketched the idea of “This Is Our Legacy”, while both Sandro Silva and Justin Prime made the break and the two drops. The quartet clearly created a balanced results, where the different influences dances together in an harmonic output. Everything, from the courageus vocal to the pinch of Dutch House in the first section, manages to entertain.
Concluding, here’s a small anecdote. Somehow, I had a chance to speak with Justin Prime some times ago, and I asked what had happened to that project. He stated that he and two other fellow Dutch artists planned to finish “This Is Our Legacy” and release it in summer. Moving fast to this month, I can happily see that he was right.
At the end of the story, the 3 wizards of Big Room have finally released their Legacy! With this and “Raver Dome”, I wish that Sandro Silva and Justin Prime would create a superduo, as it happened with Guetta & MORTEN!
