F4BLE – Dome

April 21, 20192 min read

• A great occasion to introduce an intriguing talent
• Frenetic and entertaining melody
• Dark progressive structure that doesn’t show its full potential

This is the right moment for me because I can finally talk about one of the numerous talents I’ve found and followed for quite some time. F4BLE from Austria has released his new track “Dome” on Madox Records Miami Sampler, a small yet intriguing compilation of festival tracks. I’m a bit late – writing this review, but I honestly didn’t have time to check all the samplers in time.

Anyway, F4BLE has caught my attention with the stunning “Stelar“, one of my favorite Revealed Community releases of 2018. His style is a festival progressive house one that fuses melodic vibes with a rather aggressive approach. Many call it “dark progressive”, but I found more happy vibes in F4BLE’s approach than usual. He has a couple of nice collabs with NAEMS as well (another name to watch out), where he experiments with “classic” big room.

Anyway, why did I pick “Dome”?
Its melody amazed me; I found it extremely captivating, it’s stuck in my brain since the first time I heard it. It’s simple but effective: I surprised myself repeating the notes in my head this morning. The high potential of this composition feels a bit wasted with a mixing level that I didn’t consider satisfactory, unfortunately. “Dome” doesn’t have that accuracy in the details and, more importantly, that definition in the bassline that a clean mix could add. However, I decided to present this artist that, in my opinion, has potential.

So, “Dome” manages to entertain despite its not-fully-developed potential. Its dynamism and frenetic rhythm surprised me, and I’m sure that many festival lovers out there will find it interesting!
