This article is in continuation to the first part of this year’s Revealed ADE sampler, including our final thoughts on the overall EP.

Picking up from “Blonde Breda”, made by the talented French-man Antoine Delvig, works with a simple yet efficacious beat. Alluring part is the plain drop, which Delvig has exploited well, pairing it with a massive breakdown. Including the metallic synths from the drop, the breakdown highlights on the vocal snippets.

Moving on to “All Round”, this one shares similarities with the preceding track we just discussed. SOVTH & NTVT took advantage of short riffs and offbeat bounce bassline, sticking to the simplistic but effective arrangements for the whole production.

Focusing on a faster BPM, “Da Trankis” by Sansixto draws parallel to the new Revealed style, embedded with percussion laden beats and screeching synth-lines. An energizer nonetheless, but we hoped for more experiments within the instrumental.

Next in the line is “Trembling”, which is another big room tune but creative. Putting alternative synths in the drop, the vocal one leads as it is swapped by a mix of brassy and electro ones. However, the breakdown diffuses the dynamics, feeling slightly empty. Nonetheless, a good record from Aftermarket, Zinko and Slowminded.

Concluding this EP, we have “Now We Go” from LMNTRX and Censored, which complements with shuffling components and vox in the breakdown. Displaying similar schematics to “All Round”, this production sways with blipping synths. But here again, variance in the groove loses its steam, as we expected slightly more.

In entirety, the “Revealed ADE Sampler 2018” scored, but somehow missed the mark/sweet-spot. However, the Dutch mega-label included various new names and familiar ones in this specific roster, making it a better one from the preceding nonetheless!
