• Debut single from the Finnish artist, Branson
• Reverberates with stamina and vibrancy
• Electro house with a melodic dark progressive twist
Working and developing signature sound is quite the achievement for any artist. It requires patience and confidence at the same time. These attributes have been shown by the Finnish talent BRANSON, who has catapulted into the scene with his massive debut single “The Launch”.
Embedded with hulking energy and vibrant elements, this production amasses enough stamina to flawlessly dissipate it throughout its playback. Released in the uprising label of Quartzo, “The Launch” relies on the intense synth riffs and the melodic tone. As of the genre, we wouldn’t pinpoint it to a particular sub-genre and rather classify it as Electro house.
This style leans towards the dark progressive, which has gained traction and appreciation over the years. It usually takes inspiration from the schematics of big room, but amalgamates with progressive house elements for a more creative approach.
BRANSON has adeptly manipulated generic sounds to manufacture a refreshing and innovative resultant, full of vitality! Kick-starting the song with a shuffling introduction, it moves towards a brief riser segment. This section escalates the atmosphere for the incoming drop, as the synths materialize along a vintage audio snippet counting back to one. Using the dramatic mood, the expected drop bursts in with robustly. Incorporating pumping bassline and hooking melody, the drop swirls and progresses towards the breakdown. Fading away, the breakdown once again shines the limelight at an arp synth, working alongside the same rhythm from the drop. Tuning up, the breakdown brims with pizazz as it gives away to animated and intense saw synths, working its way towards the riser. Without further delay, the final drop impacts with effective force and power-play.
All in all, this Finnish native is certainly one to be checked out… He clearly exhibits huge potential for his bright future!
