Tracks like “I Owe You” have that magical touch capable to transform a boring and monotone Monday into a cheerful and happy experience. From Germany, EskiMo presents a fantastic tune, rich of positivity, happiness, creativity and a pinch of craziness. Extremely interesting!
EskiMo uses a future bounce style, the “happy” type. Slightly similar to Mike Williams’ one, being precise. However, there is a more aggressive and explosive touch here, less focused in valorizing the sweetness of the lead, but rather on creating a bouncy drop. Needless to add that we are amazed by this stylistic choice. There are few names around capable to do good future bounce, and EskiMo is headed in that direction.
“I Owe You” has a weakness (for us), unfortunately. That’s normal, we always say that the perfect song doesn’t exist, but in particular here we found the vocal a bit dispersive and unbalanced in the second drop. That’s a shame, but we want to reward the concept here. EskiMo is an interesting name for us, and we are curious to see how he will improve and valorize his talent in the future!
So, why we are presenting this bouncy little gem?
The crazy drop amazed us. It’s hard to describe, there are so many elements, but the frenetic melody, the massive bassline, the happy lead, the bouncy plucks… Altogether they make a monstrous and super-enjoyable structure! As said in the first line, tracks like “I Owe You” are rare but capable to bring so many happy vibes! The break as well brings some elegance, but further happy feelings, thanks to that lovely and sweet piano (and really captivating) and the funky vocal.
In conclusion, the German producer made something capable to make us happy and entertained with a unique and particular style. His production deserves a review. We “Owe It” to this awesome piece of music.
