• Gritty and fast-paced
• Proficient use of distorted elements
• Aggressive and catchy presentation

It has been but a few months since we talked about the rising talent going by the alias of FLYNNINHO. The talent has revealed further promising releases over time, and his very first offering for the year is a finely crafted EP titled “Wanna Rock N’ Roll”. Its contents, however, are far from the electric guitar riffing and humming as suggested by the epithet, but consists of two hulking Bass House creations instead.

Murderous” caught our attention effectively back in October. Featuring a dark and Halloween theme, the instrumental shared its characteristics slightly to the evergreen “Atom” from Nari and Milani. Just before the preceding year had its dusk, the American DJ/Producer put his unofficial yet creative spin on Steve Aoki’s recent tune “Delirious” which intercrossed the original rap vocal along with fiercely distorted bass rhythms and aggressive saw synths presence!

Diverting back to today’s highlight, the introductory tune “Wanna” sets the mood right away. Bringing assortment of imposing hi-hats and kick groove, the breakdown hosts a pitched down vocal and gritty timbre. Following that, the drop hovers with an offbeat plucky bass cadence, nonetheless maintaining the atmosphere. Next in line, “Rock N’ Roll” continues with a similar vibe. The break-segment keeps tension with a breakbeat, following with syncopated and screeching lead synth, and aided by the crunching bass. Even if utilising fewer elements, both the instrumentals perform admirably well because of the meticulous schematics.

In a few words, the aforementioned tracks, even if composed of mélange of various sounds and pieced together adeptly by the solo act, form a formidable choice to be played out in any event!
