The track of today is a fantastic piece of Future House by Tom OHalloran. This Australian talent teamed up with vocalist Suzè and delivered “Broken Heart”, a song that mixes melancholy tones with optimum energy and elegance. It was supported by Don Diablo on his Hexagon Radio 166 and we can easily understand why.

The vocal chops style and the vibrant bassline reminds us of the magnificent sound of the Don, even though Tom experimented more on the voice modulation and on the “hypnotic” vibes of “Broken Heart”. In fact, after the “classic” structure of the break (despite shining in passion and class, it respects the common guidelines), the drop is a complete ear-candy.
The break, as said, follows a scheme already heard in various future house tracks, Don Diablo’s fans will surely recognize it. However, we felt that Tom made it more dynamic and lightweight than usual, giving the right climax for the splendid drop. That’s when finally “Broken Heart” shows its unique personality.

Suzè’s vocal has been edited in a continuous and hypnotic loop, and Tom OHalloran added a powerful wobbling bassline as a support. The result on the first listen, confused us a bit, but you know, after a couple of listens we began loving it! It’s creative, efficient, and incredibly catchy!

Future House is a beautiful genre, and Tom OHalloran showed us another example of talent, creativity, and elegance. “Broken Heart” makes you chill in the break, then shines and delights in the splendid drop. Super catchy, fresh and captivating.
