• Chilly trap release, with personality and creativity
• Minimalistic and clever approach
• Splendid vocal performance
Let’s try with something unusual today.
It’s Monday, the toughest day of the week, we wanted a song capable to light up our mood, but with elegance.
“Tired” pleasantly impressed us. This delicate tune by Mike Vallas and Adeane is exactly what we were needing. The minimalism, mixed with a clever use of vocal chops and relaxing elements, makes it a unique tune in the Tribal Trap catalogue. This label, that we are following for a while, usually presents more aggressive tunes, so “Tired” was an unexpected surprise.
We can’t really complain about the choice: the song has personality, class and great vibes! Adeane’s performance is splendid, and Mike Vallas valorized it with a genial base. We have a calm and peaceful piano ruling in the breakdown with a minimalistic approach, then a system of intriguing vocal chops. The trap bass is at the same time energetic and chilly, keeping a stable balancement between two different moods.
You may know Mike Vallas because of his awesome release on Trap Nation, called “Widow Jenna“. His style is characterized by a particular use of vocal chops in futuristic ways, and by gorgeous vocals… We found it extremely relaxing.
In a stressful day, “Tired” didn’t tire us, but gave the right positive energy to start the week. Thank you!
