Winning our first demo session is a new name, but well-endowed producer Fluent. Hailing from Europe, Fluent impressed us immediately with this alluring production, named “Lies”. Apparently, it’s a début song from him. This future bass work refreshed our ears with the kinetic melody, while at the same time intriguing us with the various elements used in it.
While reviewing any song from the genre of future bass, we always consider the melody and the atmosphere it generates. “Lies” successfully creates the sweet harmonics right from the very first second. Using heavy soaring strings and occasionally, a digital pluck. The first introductory segment hooks in adeptly, bringing in the calm and enchanting drop smoothly. As the drop sets in, we get familiarized with the intense hallmark saw-synths, paired along with a bulky snare. The melody definitely adds the charm and opulent attribute. Added to this drops are few other synths, which complement it nicely.
Fading away, there hangs silence for few moments before the second breakdown. Showcasing a minimal and brief attitude, it re-embeds the plucked synth, which plays a more leading role this time. Without adding any other complex elements, Fluent exploited simplicity to his advantage. The second drop edges over to deliver another round of luscious vibes.
Surmising, it could be remarked that “Lies” exceeded our expectations, and the young talent who crafted it meticulously, deserves our praise and approval.
