Starting February with a jovial and laid-back production, the renowned duo act Vicetone have unveiled their latest production on Spinnin’ records, titled “Fix You”. Compromising of summery sun-kissed melodies and a catchy tropical/down-tempo groove, “Fix You” is a warm and colourful release from the duo.
Presenting their first production of 2018, Vicetone made sure that the previous year was one of the best from them. Releasing melodic and vibrant tracks like “Collide” and “I Hear You”, the pair provided their fan-base and listeners with a more in-depth experience of their alternative styles of production. “Fix You” provides further proof that Vicetone aren’t going to pause exploring different genres and will, therefore, keep themselves distinct and unique in the scene.
“Fix You” consists in a swanky slick guitar strumming in a snazzy manner, to give that perfect tropical/summer feeling. To make this song even more lively, a charming male vocal glides over the calm vibe in the backdrop. Slowly escalating the tone, the breakdown adeptly introduces the relishing drop without much complexities and unwanted variations.
Transitioning to the drop, a luscious melody takes over which guarantees to keep the listener hooked throughout. Played over with synths having a similar attribute to that of future house synths, the melody gets presented in a subtle manner. Meanwhile, the background elements assist the melody to stick to the calm and ear-candy vibe of the breakdown. In a few words, the drop embodies the fresher components of the track and enhances the peppiness of the whole song.
