With an unusual title and extensive vigour, “Are Am Eye” has been unveiled by two sets of renowned artists in the Electro house scene, KEVU and Futuristic Polar Bears. Released on Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s label imprint “Smash The House”, this production packs enough tenacity to hit your eardrum with power.

Both KEVU and Futuristic Polar Bears have been releasing unique and intense tracks, and 2017 wasn’t any exception. The Portuguese duo KEVU released powerful singles like “Bang”, “Kartel”, “Wreck” and so on. Meanwhile, the English triad provided energetic tunes like “Grizzly” and “Destiny”. Undoubtedly, this collaboration had promised an efficacious release.

After a steady intro, “Are Am Eye” introduces a vocal snippet which iterates over as the riser intensifies underneath it. Without further ado, the brief riser introduces the aggressive drop.

Following a typical KEVU scheme, the drop takes over with competence. Two dominant synths prop up in the drop… One is forming bridge as the other plays out the striking melody in an alternating fashion. Another contrasting yet creative attribute of the drop is the change of the pitch and another vibrant electro synth taking over for a few seconds. In a few words, the variations and nuances enhance the dynamism of this retaliating drop.

As the drop pauses, the tension-building breakdown edges over. With a minimal attitude, a pluck synth plays over the same note as the backdrop intensifies. Supported with various FXs, for instance, a screeching synth repeating over, the synth is soon joined with another lead synth playing a repetitive melody in the background. Adeptly sweeping up the energy, the vocal and riser materialize in the same fashion, stepping up to the second and final dosage of the robust drop.

“Are Am Eye” is another significant electro house release of this month! It brings forth with it a plethora of festival vibes.
