• Eerie tonality in the breakdown
• Frenzy mix of bassline and growls in the drop
• Unpredictable final climax
In terms of the originality of its title, “Go Hard” doesn’t score as considerably. Yet, this triple-powered collaboration is anything but slow. A showcase between the joint forces of SVRRIC, Nieko, and Zack Merci, this vigorous trap tune is full of dark schemes, and a real gem that deserves to be mentioned here today.
My praises have already mentioned SVRRIC’s talent in an earlier review, while the latter shared projects in several releases such as “BOUNCE” (NCS), “UFO” and “The Chase” with a familiar trap attitude lingering throughout.
In fact, I felt plenty of the Sarajevo-based producer’s eerie imprint in the breakdown in “GO HARD”, then the dubstep blend kicking in, courtesy of Nieko and Zack.
While the guitar during the breakdown substantiates the emptier moments and extends a lot of personality to the said instrumental, there was a notable amount of predictability in the first drop. Nevertheless, it was competent in merging efficiently with the bassline for a powerful show. “Go Hard” bombshells with a blast, heard in explosions of basses abruptly interjected by dubstep-like growls and vocal shots.
Speaking personally, this style has made me a fan although the craving for fresher, unanticipated takes on the formula remains. This occurs around the final drop, where the lead follows a more disruptive pattern, frenzied, and less linear.
“Go Hard” is a near textbook party tune for creating tons of raucous to amp up the fun factor, with decent work on its foundation and stand-out features. If you happen to own speakers with capable low-end output, this is a must-play!
