Adrenalize ft. ADN – Tomorrow

May 30, 20192 min read

• Enchanting vocal
• Summer vibes
• Unconvincing follow up of “Get Up”

If you ask me about my favourite hardstyle tracks ever, I’m sure that “Get Up” from Adrenalize will be on the first places of that list. Summer is coming, and as he did last year, it seems like he wants to deliver the hardstyle anthem of the season, so he just made a follow-up of his amazing “Get Up”. Some people say that sequels are never good… Let’s see if they are right or not in the case of “Tomorrow“.

I must admit that the first bars are really promising, showing us that ADN is still in shape with his amazing voice. Some guitar chords and airy synths make the rest of the job here, crafting a simple yet effective break that goes insane when the instruments stop playing and the vocal plays almost alone between some epic pads. Finally, the characteristic Adrenalize vocal choppy lead joins the game, being followed by a short build up just before the climax.

If the lead is as valid as the “Get Up” one, the melody is not. Sure, it’s not a terrible result, but I expected something more from this artist, something a bit more emotional and heart touching. Talking about the kick, it’s clearly less punchy and powerful than the one of the prequel, which is a pity considerating that the other one is, for me, one of the best euphoric hardstyle kicks ever created.

The quality of the lead and the lovely vocal save “Tomorrow”, which, for me, seems to be created in a rush trying to mimic a past formula that worked well. Anyway, although not being Adrenalize’s best track, it’s still a good summer song that will do pretty well in both festivals and radios, so don’t hesitate to listen to it!
