Now, I can’t vouch for everyone, but in my experience this version of “Emotions” (originally by Sam Collins) combines a lethal mix of creativity and dynamic Electro House arrangements, satisfying me throughout. You made it, David! Let’s also consider that the actual material is a radio-friendly creation from Sam Collins which is nothing short of excellence. This is coming from a strong critic of electronic-pop spectrum, as the Dutch alias put together a stunning vocal and a trumpet-ish lead that sounds quite refreshing. However, since this article is about the more underground twist, this particular spin from David Warden is exactly the right choice to be discussed about.

The song, in an alluring sense, drastically morphs into a somber and slower Electro House composition and except for the distorted vocal, which was already present in the pre-cursor which inspired it in the first place. Funnily enough, it seems to fit way better in this contrasting environment, whose contents lean towards the trending “Future Rave” trademarks. Warden’s re-invention of “Emotions” wisely presents his own touch especially regarding the melody and the exquisite arp patterns in the drops. The pattern isn’t aggressive per se: instead, it creates a complex mechanism, while the hard-hitting low-end complements the rhythm further. A fascinating sequence and with the bonus of experimental nuances, left me hooked.

It is justifiable to conclude with the thought that David Warden delivered an arduous take on an already enjoyable tune, executing his idea of Future Rave signature adeptly. There is potential in this, and the result speaks for itself!
