“Our Love” immediately impessed me with its vocal loop, an engaging element that keeps getting embedded in my mind. Demonstrating properties of a tick, I didn’t manage to get rid of it… I guess this was indeed the result desired by the talented creators Truly High and Tony Vida!
The two German producers crafted this beautiful release (out now on FHC), and I think that their careers deserve a quick mention. Both young and with few but quality releases in their discography, I easily managed to differentiate their vibes. Truly High has a Brazilian Bass bouncy-oriented approach towards Future House, and the drop of “Our Love” has his signature bassline, very animated and in the face. I observed this characteristics in his preceding release “Addicted To You”. Tony Vida, as opposite, utilized a more “summerish” style, extremely dependent on vocal modulation. I’m pretty sure that he’s behind the vocal loop here.
So, we have two distinctive producers, one with an aggressive touch, one more into happy vibes. “Our Love” receives both influences and reciprocates an energetic and entertaining outcome. The unmentioned vocalist delivers an acceptable performance in the breakdown (with a funky piano, a standard structure), and then gets transformed in the mentioned element. I loved the drop, it’s a formula that becomes hypnotizing in the long run, and Truly High’s vigorous touch was simply adeptly done. There is a great synergy here, I noticed it!
“Our Love” is a befitting release… It has a predictable breakdown, a main struggle that I have with Future House, since most of the songs tend to use the same structures. Apart from that, it manages to amuse the listener with a spectacular drop, thanks to a plausible combination of vocal chop & heavy bass. Lots of fun here!
