Dimatik & SCNDL- Wild

May 16, 20201 min read

• Brutal kicks, a trademark of Dimatik
• Mature and vicious composition
• A bigroom weapon, floor warmer

Despite our thoughts about the label, is Smash The House still worthy? Yes indeed, as its probably lesser known sub-label Generation Smash (rarely) has some interesting tracks by underrated producers, one of those tracks being the “Wild” by Dimatik and SCNDL. The former is a producer best known for his brutal production tonality, such as his remix for “The People”, and SCNDL is a versatile and experienced individual who has navigated through the scene long enough, starting in Spinnin Records, including releases on Monstercat. This truly is an enormous team-up between these acts.

From the initial segment, it is an obligation to hear some trap vibes, now a common occurrence among the imprint’s big room releases. The melody is catchy enough, however resorting to generic limits. The drop is striking hard, with the kicks being brutal (usual on Dimatik´s tracks). But I must make a special mention of the vocals. Shimmering with energy, it is cut adeptly for festivals to make the crowd go haywire. This with the entirety, definitely adds up to the score for the instrumental.

“Wild” is an aggressively crafted tune, whose sole purpose is to get you going on the dance-floor, but as many other standard releases on the said label, the arrangements doesn’t defy the standards.
