Easter is incoming and, as the tradition follows, the Easter Bunny brings children (and adults alike, let’s be honest!) chocolate eggs with some delightful surprises inside! Historically, these eggs were hidden in gardens and parks, and hunts were organised for finding them.
In recent times, the term “Easter Egg” gained a new meaning, related to the Easter Hunt: it represents a message or image hidden in video games, movies, illustrations. Fans love hunting and finding them, it’s a fun activity! That’s why we amused ourselves in presenting you three buried teasers we found related to EDM!
Skrillex and Jack Ü
Definitively, we aren’t going to speculate on a hypothetical “Jack Ü” return, but one of the latest Skrillex covers (“Midnight Hour”) has the famous logo hidden between some doodles. A concealed homage, perhaps?
Martin Garrix, a programming whiz?
It’s not a secret that many of Garrix’s earlier songs are IT-related (“Virus”, “Error 404”, “Wizard”). However, a fan discovered later that the Dutch star actually used real strings of codes, taken from Stack Overflow, in some live effect videos during his UMF 2019 set. Probably Garrix is really interested in the subject, or (since these hints are subtly hidden) is there something behind this?

Jägerpug, Hardwell’s cute dog
In some Hardwell cover arts like “Survivors” and “Chameleon”, there is a mysterious dog hidden in the background… No mysteries here: it’s simply his beloved furry friend, Jägerpug! That’s the cutest Easter Egg of the three!
You already found me in @HARDWELL 's #ADE flyer, but I bet you didn't find me in the cover of chameleon #wheresjager pic.twitter.com/T5snPh5gVx
