We Aren’t Worried About Hardwell’s Break From Touring
A few days ago, the two times World No.1 Dutch DJ/producer Hardwell announced an indefinite hiatus from touring – to focus on family, friends and to simply relax. No deadlines, dates, interviews, no stress.

We are sorry for the fans that were going to participate in his upcoming gigs. And for the ones worried about his state of health, in our opinion (take note: we don’t know anything more about the reasons for this break), this is normal. At a certain point of an artist’s life, between tours and releases (tons of releases, in case of Hardwell) the stress becomes unbearable. Avicii is the saddest example of what we are talking about.
So, first of all, we are glad to see Hardwell deciding to relax. His health is the most important thing in this case. Many other artists took some breaks during their careers and we are sure that he will come back in a great form!
After having clarified that, we must add why us, reviewers, are particularly interested in this choice. During this period of relaxation, Hardwell will have a lot of time to experiment and create new music. His creativity will be set free and his next releases can possibly infuse us with enthusiasm. It is quite an optimistic thought, but we noticed a confusion in the Revealed boss’ in 2018, with a lot of releases (EP included), many of them forgettable. Quality over quantity, order over chaos. We are sure that during this break Hardwell will find some peace and organize his music much better for the future.
We wish all the best to him and his fans, and we hope to find an even better Hardwell in the future!
