Max Styler isn’t really a neoteric personage in the industry, as he’s been enhancing the Dim Mak roster since 2014. Over the course of the years, we’ve seen him making, playing & releasing almost every genre. Lately, the American artist created a future house hit infused with alluring summer vibes, titled “Let Me Take You There“, also featuring the lively voice from the British vocalist Laura White.
Now while the original was released the previous year, the remixes were unveiled recently with different variants offered on the platter. From floor-filling Tech House remix by KC Lights, and complemented by a chilled out version by Sondr, the need for a Festival Progressive remix version has been fulfilled by none other than Arty!
Personally found the choice of Arty to re-work this as severely interesting. The Russian DJ/Producer received heavy appreciation when he gave his signature twist to “There For You“, composed by leading House acts MK & Gorgon City. Henceforth, it’s no surprise to see Arty moulding another House-y material into a Progressive one with such zest. On a side note, it’s amusing to see how both remix choices have a similar title.
Back to the remix being reviewed, the production in itself fits well with the vocal presence, providing a characteristic approach and denoting the emotions created with a classic drop, something that can be noticed in Arty’s own productions like “Perfect Strangers” & “Daydreams”. The warmth of the piano in the break is tantalising, and it gets even better when backed up with those strings. The climactic segment additionally acts as a heater with the comely summer vibes, befitting for this wintry period. If the genre had been sidelined by Steve Aoki’s label, it has been brought back in the imprint with a creative and uplifting flair!
Hopefully, I wish to see such unique approaches like this one, and with the way Arty’s acting ingeniously, we could see him exploring other styles and genres!
