• Memories: 75/100

Just 6 songs, but well chosen. FHC is slowly becoming one of the most important future house labels, together with Hexagon, and we were curious to see their ADE sampler. In few words, it’s a spicy selection, rich of intriguing ideas and talents to watch out for.

Since the first song, the innovative and delicate future bass/house hybrid by Max Fail and Blaze U, “Be Alright”, characterized by a classy vocal and a Madison Mars-style drop, we were already impressed. Then, Debris and his dark “Valkyrie” definitely convinced us to review this beautiful composition.

His sound is aggressive, with clear big room influences, but with an emotional breakdown that adds an unforgettable vibe to the tune. By far, that’s our favourite concept.

After that, High ‘N’ Rich presented us with another creative song. “Revenge” presents a mix of dark and happy vibes which makes it pretty unique… with electro house influences this time. But the melody was slightly dispersive for us. We slightly preferred “Fox You Up” by Foxa to it, a brutal future/bass house song that smashed our speakers with a formidable bassline! Minimal structure but powerful!

“Tonight” by Julen Larra was another little gem of this EP, thanks to its lovely vocal and the hypnotic drop, but compared to the others, presented a really dispersive structure, but still maintained a splendid atmosphere. In the end, “Memories” by Tokyo Project, Czar, and Avish delighted us with a happy and relaxing production. Sweet and chilly, this was the right choice as a last track for the ADE Sampler!

In conclusion, FHC presented a great EP with a lot of hybrids. There is the whole catalog of possible genres released by the label. Future house fans, you must check it out if you want to stay updated about the trends!
