• Explosive and unexpected trap drop
• Frenetic vibes, adding climax
• Personality and experience involved

During the weekend, we often experiment with unusual genres and “minor” reviews.
It’s that time of the week when we are exhausted in the bed, after maybe a night of partying, and we need two things… Depending on the circumstances.

Usually, we look for something chilly, like tropical or deep house… Or we just listen to random music, finding an inspiring song. Today, the lucky winner is “Underground”, a nice Tribal Trap release by EBEN (Finland) and Onur Ormen (Turkey). The duo worked together many times, and it’s not the first time that they appear on Tribal Trap. Their latest work together is the aggressive “Mirror“, but if they pick their discography alone, not as a duo, you’ll see that they are extremely active… With many tunes on other big trap labels like Trap Nation, Elysian Records, and TrapWolves.

Anyway…
Why “Underground” impressed us?

Good question. We must be honest, this release doesn’t bring any revolutionary element to the scene, it’s a normal trap tune with classic samples and normal structure. However, it’s how EDEN and Onur Ormen used those samples, that makes it special.

The drop presents a hypnotic lead, that plays a slow yet aggressive melody, suddenly broken in some parts by explosive saws. This idea makes the part unpredictable, fresh and energetic. We loved it! The breakdown adds even more climax, thanks to a frenetic buildup system. It’s quite simple to describe, because it keeps a certain linearity during its duration, but “Underground”, for us, was quite a surprise!

EDEN and Onur Ormen worked well. Let’s be honest. “Underground” is a fresh release, much appreciated, and we definitively recommend it.
