The recently released hit by the English singer Dua Lipa “New Rules” has got many remixes so far… One of the most interesting is from Alphavox! He has added a big room presence to the already energetic pop track. Without compromising the groove of the original track, the Indian talent has definitively created a remix that fits along perfectly.

The intro starts as most of the big room house productions do, a kick, brass stab, percussions and within a few seconds the tonal uplifter comes in to smoothly drive in the breakdown.
The breakdown consists of the original track since probably Alphavox didn’t have access to the stems. Anyway, it greatly goes along with the hard hitting drop that comes afterward. Since the original track has a bit of fast pace to it, the natural groove of the track hasn’t been tempered along with this remix.
The drop that follows hits with a huge ferocity, as the “classical” big room synths hit with full force.

Another good thing I would like to mention about this drop is the groove of the drop melody goes perfectly well with the “New Rules” breakdown. A strong drop for the subtle breakdown, a fine idea!
The second breakdown that comes in is again from the original track’s break. It smoothly follows up to the same drop which comes in as effectively as it did before.
The thing which surprised me the most was that even if Alphavox had only 60 followers, the quality of this remix was quite splendid. I would definitely like to see it getting supported by different Dj/Producers.
Concluding, I would say Alphavox did a quite good job in bringing out the festival vibe around this catchy track. He’s an interesting producer that needs to be followed with more attention!
