• Second official release of OZ Records
• Utilizes hardstyle schematics and electro house components
• Embedded with meaningful message and intensity

With the period of music festivals coming to an end for this year, we aren’t yet devoid of any significant productions. For today, we will be talking about the new official release from the luminary Dutch DJ/Producer Ummet Ozcan, who has collaborated along with Belgium native Coone and English musician Villain for a hulking instrumental… Revealing the result on his newly launched label OZ Records (sub-label of Spinnin’). Peculiarly titled as “Trash Moments“, it has been crafted with best of intentions and precision.

Before we divert ourselves about this brand-new single, let us have a brief recap about the artists and their preceding releases. Specialising in showing diversity with his productions, Ummet Ozcan has satisfied his fan-base with a high number of genres in his list. From the subtle and pop-influenced “Change My Heart” to the dance-floor compatible “Omnia”, he has yet again shown his skills with “Trash Moments” as well. Exploiting his hardstyle roots, he amalgamated his electro sound for maximum energy. On the other hand, we have Coone who has experience with the harder side of dance music. Villain, however, experiments with wobbles and screeching synths, hence it’s slightly surprising that he chose to do differently with this record.

Taking inspiration from rawstyle, the hard and distorted kick works along with a catchy vocal snippet, elevating the energy for the oncoming drop. Impacting with zeal, this drop crashes firmly with the kick and bassline, assisted with familiar screeching hardstyle synths. Giving spotlight to these elements, further FXs and percussion come along for more spice. Halting with style, the breakdown materializes with a message themed about the track, while another chiming pluck works underneath it. Waiting for the right moment, the supersaw hits with vigor, playing an aggressive melody. Abruptly stopping for enhancing the tension, the riser swiftly brings up the final drop. This time, it utilizes the saw synths along with the dynamic backdrop of the previous one. Stacked with plenty of intense ingredients, there are no doubts regarding the dynamism!

While promoting about curbing pollution and saving environment, “Trash Moments” adeptly propagates both the message and power embedded in it.
