• Repetitive vocal, but is used in a clever and catchy way

What a surprise by Dastic, a producer we had terribly underrated in the previous months. Yes, we must be honest, this Dutch Spinnin’ producer, for us, still wasn’t showing his best, despite various glorious hits. “Give Me Your Love” is the confirmation that Dastic is capable to impress even us, the picky reviewers!
Let’s be clear, Dastic has had various hits on Spinnin’, especially the collab with Mike Williams “You & I” (funny fact: the duo also worked together in a crazy free download, “Candy“) and the relaxing “Queen Of A Broken Heart“. His style is Future Bounce but slightly oriented to pop and chillier tones, a successful combination. However, because we are what we are, we were waiting for the “spicy” release from Dastic, something capable to finally convince us. “Give Me Your Love” hit the target, and it’s a perfect hit!
Let’s start with the vocal because it’s a detail that didn’t really amaze us… At first. The lyrics are repetitive in a risky way: just a “Give Me Your Love Baby” loop. However, if you pay attention, you can notice how Dastic managed, with a genial use of the base and vocal editing, to make them catchy. The drop is then a great surprise!
The lead is aggressive, with a pinch of ethnicism in it. The melody, despite not being extremely complex, does its job, slamming on the table a catchy structure, with dynamism and unpredictableness. It’s something fresh and unusual, but there is still a clear Dastic imprint (mainly in the break).
In conclusion, we have in front of us an intriguing release.
Dastic risked it a bit, with a curious vocal choice and an unexpected drop, but, at least in our opinion, scored a great tune! We can’t wait to see what else he will prepare for his fans!
