81/100

It has been a while since we last talk about Dyro’s imposing music. The luminary Dutchman has been busy in the studio evidently, crafting experimental and creative works. Debuting in the prestigious record label of STMPD, the veteran artist brings aboard his unique flavour. Titled “Bring It Down”, Dyro once again showcases his skills with precision.

With two releases already for this year, one being the “Talkin’ Bout” with the American producer GTA, the next impending song was “Feel It Coming“, on eminent Monstercat. Both of them divulged further down into Dyro’s amalgamation of trap, dubstep and melodic elements. Emphasising on variations and detail, it is certain that the Dutch endeavours in embedding myriads of harmonics to deliver a satisfactory and lush production.

Gaining traction with a rhythmic house intro, “Bring It Down” swirls towards the delectable breakdown. Exploiting a charming vocal snippet, it escalates briefly with the snare riser in action. Charging in with gusto, the drop takes over as the riser disappears swiftly. The pre-drop vocal signals in the distorted bass-house synths, playing a spunky and kinetic rhythm. Complementing the synths and the whirling groove are glitches and FXs, enhancing the stamina. Doing its job, the first round of drop gives away to the main climatic segment. Vocal snippets take their leading place again, as the calm backdrop is replaced soon by another set of synths. Adding a digital and melodic tone, the synths halt with flair to ascend for the final play. Materialising slowly, the snares wilfully build towards the last drop, which then hits with potency and vigour.

Summarising in few words, we can confidently say that “Bring It Down” is a splendid inclusion among the STMPD’s superlative inventory!
