84/100

• Second team-up between these artists
• Sequel to their preceding work, “DYLYSM”, reworking its formula
• The alluring breakdown hints at inspiration from the renowned “Gecko”

As summer is treading towards its end, there seems to be no dearth or scarcity for feelgood house productions for complementing the season. And especially this year, we got to listen to some delectable tunes from various mega-labels and heavyweights in the industry. So for today, we will be talking of the latest work from dynamic American duo Breathe Carolina and uprising Italian based talents Sunstars, both of them being renowned for their funky and alluring works. Their brand new single is christened “Feel It”, which takes equal proportions of deep/future and the kinetic bass house. Let us further talk about this vibrant production.

For people who might not be following this two particular stage names, both the parties aren’t unfamiliar with each other. They did teamed-up for their previous single “DYSYLM”, which inaugurated this year with the requisite flair and style. And if we compare their preceding song with “Feel It”, it can be unequivocally said that the latter is a follow-up to the former, as it boasts properties equal to the other. “DYSYLM” consisted of charming vocal hook, while the breakdown elements complemented it with spunky and animated melody. But that wasn’t all in this package, it included a paced and swirling wobbling synth-line to pump in stamina into the otherwise delightful and laid-back release.

Talking about our subject today, it starts with jazzy chords working along with a lovely female vocal, and at the first listen seems inspired from Oliver Heldens’ “Gecko”, which featured the well-known melody. The vocal also feels galvanized from the vocal version of the same, however, in this specific production, it works effectively. The shuffling backdrop elevates towards the drop, which as slightly expected, packed with bass house components. Leading the way, the squeaking lead synths feel analogous to Sunstars’ signature presets, but nonetheless, it adds a pleasant twist to the earlier segment of this song!
“Feel It” is strikingly catchy and attention-grabbing, evidently pointing out the successful joint-effort between the artists. This particular musical freedom release is one not to be missed or skipped!
