If we write about a new talent, you can be sure that it’s because he, or they, completely impressed us. In addition, if we are talking about future bass, you can be double sure that the song amazed us, being a genre we think is saturated.
Being said that, let’s begin with the fabulous tune of today. The singer’s name should ring a bell for David Guetta fans. The experienced singer Chris Willis has been the protagonist of various hits, like “Gettin’ Over You” or “Love Is Gone“. Nice to hear his voice again!
However, the base produced by SPRNGBEATS, Marco Farouk and C4NDY is what finally convinced us. After a rather hectic week (thanks to UMF), some chilly vibes were necessary, like a medicine.
“Run With Me” cured my stressed day with a healthy dose of catchiness, delicate emotions and a clever scheme. The song delighted me for its lightweight approach, calm and relaxing. However, the drop hits you with an unpredictable dose of strong future bass elements!
Nothing too aggressive, of course, but I loved how “Run With Me” wants to tell you – “I may be calm and emotional, but I can still bite“. That’s exactly what the producers created: a perfect hybrid between chilly and energetic, with a drop that, despite the simple melody, is gold for my stressed ears!
Credits to Chris Willis, of course, for his splendid part in the break. From such a famous singer we were expected something great, and he delivered.
“Run With Me”, in the end, is a fresh and interesting song. Recommended.
