The review of today talks about a splendid remix by Klo! The American producer delivered an explosive future bass rework of “Atic”, by ‘Astrid S.’
Why did we select this sweet remix?
With future bass, we are really selective, it being such a popular genre, the selected track really needs to stand out. Klo did the job proficiently, so we are happy to present her work here.
The original “Atic” was already a beautiful production, but for us EDM fans, a more electronic twist was needed. Klo added a dreamy influence in the break. It’s a part full of interesting details, experimentations and organic vibes… Relaxing, but with a pinch of aggressiveness hidden behind its complex scheme.
But wait, the magic is yet to arrive!
After a brief buildup (maybe slightly too minimalistic, but it added an unexpected effect to the drop), the remix shows its nature. An explosive and euphoric future bass drop delivers its impact. Its powerful attack clashes in a magnificent way with the overall calm break and vocal. Klo produced a complex structure, where the dominant element is the colossal lead, slightly distorted, following a simple melody, while other elements help it entertain the listener. Our favourite is the secondary lead in the background. It follows a complex scheme, yet is fresh and dynamic thanks to its high pitched sound.
In conclusion, Klo remixed “Atic” in a great manner, adding an unexpected amount of energy over a calm production. A great remix!
