“Brainlove” is a splendid tune that amazed us at the first listen. The collaboration between the Greek Donkey Dust and the singer John Paragami is something able to impress, delight, and make fall in love with its wonderful personality.
The genre is mainly future house, with some big room elements and a trap slight influence in the vocal lead.
After reading this phrase, you should have already understood that this is something really particular… It is.
The break begins with a catchy elegant piano melody, and John Paragami superb vocal. Few words to say there, the singer made a perfect job, delivering an emotional vibe to the tune. Simple structure, maximum effectiveness. It slightly reminds Calvin Harris, because of the big room saws in the buildup, but only before the drop.
The drop may seem simple at first, but it’s actually fabulous. The vocal-composed lead is inspired by the Ummet Ozcan trap remix of “Stay A While”, but here is used in a more dynamic way. In the background, a heavy big room kick makes its job, and the bassline fills the rest. A quite aggressive drop actually, but its hypnotic rhythm makes everything more relaxing.
The second break keeps a calmer atmosphere, while adding more trap vibes in the successive drop. Here it’s easier to notice the trap influence: with a legendary hybrid between the two genres, “Brainlove” brings up a mood hard to explain with simple words.
What’s sure here is that Donkey Dust showed his particular style in a perfect way. “Brainlovel” is well done, unique, creative, a potential hit in few words.
Let’s wait and hope that those two great artists will receive the support they deserve because their product is fantastic!
