Hailing from Los Angeles, the electronic producer Barely Great has definitely cooked something very experimental, and nonetheless vivid. This production tries to defy generic boundaries and make its own standards. Titled “Right Now”, the track with its minimal elements is all set to impress any electronic music listener with its dynamism.
The track starts with keeping a slow trap pace, with snare hitting every alternate time, and pad synth in the backdrop to bring up an atmosphere. The breakdown is splendid, as there have been different contrasting elements used to bring a subtle groove. Keeping an elegant motion, the track progresses to drop, which again is surprises with its own sets of distinct elements.
The drop features rugged distorted wobbles, which added a lively distinct groove. Simultaneously, the drop doesn’t introduce any different percussion or synth and keeps the same rhythm developed in the breakdown.
The conclusions on this production would be that “Right Now” truly keeps the meaning of experimental with its out of the box creativeness. Music connoisseurs are definitely gonna approve of this, and we highly suggest to give a listen to it. Definitely, an underrated gem.
