Bass & Beard – Jungle Rush

Some fans consider it the best Revealed.dj release at the moment, and I must agree with them.
Even if some other releases were wonderful, “Jungle Rush” has something more.

A wonderful style, the Bass & Beard one, and the right jungle/electro atmosphere. From a certain point of view, it reminds me of KURA, but the Indian duo managed well to insert their personality into the tune.

It’s underground, bouncing, with a creative idea behind. Definitively, I would have liked to see it on the main label, but I understand. Bass & Beard are relatively new to the scene… However, this little gem doesn’t have to be ignored.

The break begins with a lovely and catchy melody. Emotional and tribal, the bass immediately introduces itself.

Suddenly, the drop smashes its energy in the listener’s face. Wow.
The metallic lead is gorgeous, even if a bit dominated by the impressive bassline. Overall, a hypnotic and interesting drop!

The break has a repetitive tribal vocal, which fits well with the mood, and the superlative melody. A mix of different instruments, like bagpipes (?!), violins and drums, bring up a slightly chaotic atmosphere. However this idea is clever, it fulfills that part while giving space to the main lead. A really difficult job of balancing the different sounds involved.

“Jungle Rush” gives exactly what people want to see from uprising talents. Creative, unpredictable, hypnotic and energetic. A work of art.

Bass & Beard will impress us again in the future, I’m sure about that.
