LNY TNZ – We Go Up

Yes, you read well.
This is future bass. Even if LNY TNZ are notorious for being extremely talented in hardstyle and trap, “We Go Up” is more emotional than expected.

However, we have chosen to review this wonderful track of their EP “FVCK GENRES Vol. 2” because of its freshness and personality. As the title of the EP rawly shows, the duo managed to explore different genres thinking “outside the box”. In a rebellious way, they reworked future bass in their signature sound. Which is energetic and unpredictable, of course.

Even if the other songs are really good, “We Go Up” is one step higher for its creativity. The idea is simple, in fact, the break is pretty normal in comparison with the standards. A vocal, a piano melody, and a vocal chopped uprising lead.

The singer made a wonderful work. His part is emotional and catchy, thanks to the base which emphasizes it.
However, in the first drop, we can already feel the LNY TNZ idea. It seems a good future bass drop, with a powerful lead and a catchy quick melody, but in the middle, there is a hardstyle fills.

It seems out of context, but it’s genial. It symbolizes the LNY TNZ true nature: hardstyle.
However, this hardstyle influence is more evident in the second drop: we have a dry kick entering in it, creating a unique hybrid between future bass and hardstyle.

This is innovation and creativity.
This is LNY TNZ.

Even if they produced an emotional (and super well done) tune, they still managed to impress. “We Go Up” has that personality that brings it one step over the normal future bass. Energetic, hypnotic, creative, bouncing.

It’s with ideas like those that you revolution the scene.
