Our Talent Pool has a new artist today!
The French producer Luke Nolan dropped “Beat Em’ Up”, a bouncing electro track that really impressed me! His style reminds me something between DANNIC and Tom & Jame, but the young talent has tons of personality to show!

The song’s genre is quite interesting, I had difficulties in defining it. It’s actually a hybrid between electro house, tribal house, and big room, with a super work on percussions. In fact, drums are the main element of “Beat Em’ Up”, and as the title suggests, they are quite aggressive and bouncing. They keep hitting (and beating) my ears for the whole duration!

The melody, even if in a minimal style, is surprisingly catchy! I don’t really know why, but it was almost hypnotic. Really really interesting…

The break didn’t surprise me. Following his personal “Fonk (ish)” style, Luke Nolan used the DANNIC technique: the break is not a break, but a whole buildup part. Is there a distorted vocal loop? Of course yes!
Being serious, that was slightly predictable, but I still enjoyed it and I think that it was the right decision.

“Beat Em’ Up” follows the request of its own title, in the end. Its crazy rhythm and its catchiness make the Luke Nolan tune a really enjoyable EDM production! Supported!
