Garmiani is back with an unusual tune, “Shine Good”, again with the singer Julimar Santos.
The successful duo has smashed the dancefloors this summer with “Fogo“, a tribal and massive release, and fans were expecting something similar in “Shine Good”. The Swedish producer decided to experiment something less aggressive, but still catchy and bouncing.
The style of the tune is not electro house anymore, but rather a melodic and ethnic future house/tropical track. It’s a way to emphasize Julimar Santos splendid voice, which is the dominant element there, give a “happy” feeling, and still show some Garmiani skills in the kick, the percs, and the “dark” pluck in the drop, which is still a bit too much aggressive for this genre, but a creative choice.
The lead is really sweet and emotional, it reminds of a music box, but it keeps giving a “caribbean” mood to the song. The rhythm is obviously hypnotic and emotional. “Shine Good” is a joyful track, and even if the scheme is quite simple, it does its job pretty well.
Garmiani tried something new, and he did it proficiently. Congratulations!
