The Australian talent Throttle is back on Spinnin’ (after his great success “Baddest Behaviour“) with something even more tribal and creative. He teamed up with the new Dim Mak’s recruit, Niko The Kid, and the result is the splendid “Piñata”.

As the title suggests, the song has an exotic vibe and an impressive amount of aggressiveness! Throttle clearly added his “dark” tribal touch to the drop, which tries to be relaxing and happy, but fails under the hits of the fills and the heavy kick. Interesting choice, it’s surely creative and effective.

“Piñata” remains a song for people who can appreciate its beautiful personality. The two artists tried to mix together two different soundstyles, and even if the drop can surprise you at first, it works. The caribbean flute fits strangely well with the rest, and it added that unique mood that only two professionals can tender.

The break part is a bit simple, but it creates a good hype! Pretty fresh and enjoyable too, and that flute definitively enters in your mind! The energetic buildup, a pure masterpiece by Throttle, represents the icing on the cake.

In conclusion, “Piñata” is fresh, satisfying, with the right balance between the two personalities, and a crazy melody. Any other word is unnecessary. Throttle and Niko The Kid dropped one of the best songs of the month!
