Stefan Engblom may sound new to you, but if I say “Dada Life” you can immediately understand how much talent and experience there is behind “Pure Adrenaline”!
The new Spinnin’ release is a concentrate of power, an acid electro house tune that represents the debut of Stefan as a solo artist. Dada Life have always had that distorted acid style in their hits (like “Feed The Dada” or “Born To Rage”), but on this track, there is a little bit of innovation… Or old-style, it depends on your point of view.
“Pure Adrenaline” point of strength is the frenetic lead. Energetic, powerful, and with an incredible fluidness. Calling it “Wonderful” is reductive. It plays its catchy melody with a supreme intensity!
In the break, a bit simple but still effective, we can find a distorted and repetitive vocal, in pure Dada Life style. A nostalgic touch that will surely give you goosebumps!
The second drop is even catchier, thanks to the secondary lead, which reminds a bit a violin, that plays a hypnotic melody in the background.
In conclusion, Stefan Engblom showed that even in 2017 he is able to rule the scene with an acid track that impresses for its catchiness and power. Definitively, one of the best comeback of the year.
