“Calm Dawn” is a superb hybrid between future bass and future house, and I’m really excited to review it for you!
Released by Future House Cloud, a network that it’s quickly impressing me in the latest period, the tune has been produced by PASSIK and Max Fail. You may know the German Max Fail, because he’s not a “fail” but he’s actually pretty famous (supported by Mike Williams, W&W and Yves V)! The Swiss PASSIK is pretty new to the scene (this is only his third release), but in my opinion, he’s really important for the track.
In fact, you can easily notice that there is a dominant and continuous clash between two genres in the drop: future bass lead again a future house scheme (drums, kick and vocal shots). The overall effect is creative and really interesting: that’s because the future house style by Max Fail fits smoothly with PASSIK future bass influence. I wasn’t expecting such a complementary feeling, everything seems very genuine and natural, while being innovative and experimental!
I can’t forget to talk about the excellent technical level of “Calm Dawn” too: professionally mixed and mastered, my ears were delighted! Sure, we are talking about Future House Cloud, one of the best network out there, but I consider “Calm Dawn” one step further their usual tunes.
It’s something really interesting, something that NEEDS to be shared and valorized. Because that’s real innovation. That’s how you take future bass and valorize it. Enjoy.
