It is impossible to get a return on the scene better than Madox Records one!
The label just released a banger called “Nokatare”, produced by two super German producers, Moisuki and Exyt.

Exyt is not a new name for me, I already reviewed his “Temple” bootleg, and Moisuki has a superb style too!

I immediately fell in love with their big room bomb, because of its aggressiveness, its vocal and the beautiful idea.
“Nokatare” starts in a creative way: the ethnic vocal makes its first appearance, showing its beauty during 10 seconds of silence, then together with some electro saws. After that, there is the buildup, a part that I consider very interesting!

I was discussing it with a couple of people and they told me: “Meh, it seems too empty”.

But that’s the cherry on the top.

Exyt and Moisuki made the buildup part empty and irrelevant, so when the gorgeous drop arrives, it almost stunned me for its ferocious aggressiveness. The clash between the weak buildup and the power of the drop is absolutely genial and effective.

The bouncing and crazy drop, in fact, is SPECTACULAR. Its aggressiveness is unique, I loved the complexity and how it managed to impress me. Fresh and brutal.

In the end, “Nokatare” is a splendid big room song. Interesting vocal, genial buildup choice, wonderful work on the drop, personality and aggressiveness together.
I am really impressed by those two guys, and happy to see that Maddox is back!
