Today I would dare to present something out of ordinary. I’m talking about that genius of Herobust, one of the most important hybrid trap artists out there.
The American producer is back with “Debt ‘N Eight”, a track that I decided to review because of its creativity. In addition, it has a monster drop, so, there are two reasons.
I need to specify that “Debt ‘N Eight” is extremely particular and you may find it quite strange. The main theme, as you may guess while looking at the cover, is a bomb detonating. There are a timer and an anxious vocal, symbolizing the time quickly expiring, and then the drop, which stands for the explosion in this big metaphor, detonate.
That’s pretty obvious, but the tune is a total bomb. Brutal, with a slow rhythm but an aggressiveness that only a genius like Herobust can give. The scheme is actually quite simple, and I liked it. The overall output is really clean and tidy, but it still manages to burn down my ears. That’s a difficult result to obtain!
Herobust created a banger, and even if I’m not a big fan of this genre, I must congratulate with him. His style is unique, the idea is original, and the drop is sublimely energetic! Recommended!
