Pyrodox – Never Gonna Leave My Mind (ft. Martyn Ell)

September 21, 20172 min read

Today I would like to talk about a track that impressed me for its sweetness and elegance. “Never Gonna Leave My Mind” is a magnificent future bass tune from the Dutch producer Pyrodox.

Since when I read the artist’s name, I was already sure that “Never Gonna Leave My Mind” was going to impress me. Pyrodox is an awesome producer, it’s not the first time I fell in love with one of his productions!
In particular, I would like to recommend taking a look to his splendid hardtrap bootleg of “Melody” by DV&LM, and to the “Electric Elephants” (by Jay Hardway) remix. Both are great reworks, two examples of Pyrodox technical skills and creativity.

This time, with “Never Gonna Leave My Mind”, the artist tried something more introvert and elegant. The tune, released by the always fresh Mixmash Records, is a concentrate of class and emotions.

The vocal, made by the great singer Martyn Ell, is catchy and very interesting. It added more climax and rhythm to the calm but not boring base, until the buildup part. Here, I’m sorry for Martyn Ell, the super lead by Pyrodox is the real protagonist! It reminds me of a flute, but it has a unique sweetness and lot of personality. Incredible! The drop is a pure and intense future bass style: it caught my attention and entertained me perfectly.

The guitar riff in the final part is the cherry on the top of “Never Gonna Leave My Mind”, an incredible future bass production that once again showed Pyrodox unique abilities. Recommended!
