I know this is a very old bootleg, but it’s one of my favorites ever, so I thought it was a nice idea sharing it to you. Behind this track, there is a bunch of memories and nostalgic moments, meaningless for you, but really important for me.
“Break Through The Silence” is, first of all, one of my favorite Garrix tracks ever. Together with Matisse & Sadko, the Dutch producer created a lovely progressive house track. It’s pretty famous, but if you missed it I recommend the original version too, quite underrated in my opinion!
Anyway, today I’m not talking about the original tune, but about the T-Mass &LZRD trap version instead! Those two guys are awesome together, and I have a long list of recommendation for you. During 2015-2016 they dropped a long and successful series of “festival trap bootlegs“. What’s this strange genre of bootleg?
In few words, the producer picks up a track, slows it down, adds some 808s, some trap elements, some melody changes, and that’s all. Someone says it’s an easy way to make a bootleg, since the scheme remains the same, but I honestly like it very much. It’s a matter of tastes, but “festival trap” is really enjoyable, especially in this case, and it’s difficult to perfection. Since the formula is quite simple, making something really interesting is hard and complex.
I’ve listened to this “Break Through the Silence” bootleg for two years, and I’m not bored by the drop yet. With a majestic bass (LZRD and T-Mass are two of the most skilled trap producers out there, don’t forget it!), a creative system of quick pauses and distortions, and an aggressive lead used as fill, this 3 minutes of music still manage to impress me.
Why do I like the T-Mass and LZRD festival bootleg so much?
Well, there is a simple explanation. The original is awesome for me, but those two guys just added more energy, more climax, more intensity, one further step to perfection. I heard it hundreds of times and I still didn’t find why it’s so magic and important for me.
This is my favorite festival trap bootleg ever. I hope you will like it as much as I do.
