Two of the most interesting minor labels of the scene, Puregold and Exposed, teamed up and released “Payback”.
How can we start here, the song is wonderful!
Created by Max Adrian and Aftermarket, “Payback” managed to bring the right energy and the right balance between the two different styles.
There are two layers of balance: between Max Adrian and Aftermarket first, and the other one between the two labels themselves! That’s pretty unique because usually labels don’t collaborate even if the results can be, as you can hear, magic.
“Payback” and its groovy vibes fits well with the underground Puregold mood, and with Exposed electro guideline. The two artists made a great job, delivering a catchy and balanced product for both.
The drop consists of a “Dannic style” lead, a powerful bassline and a bouncing kick. Well done, it immediately catch the attention of the listener.
Then, we have an emotional and hyping break, with a distorted vocal. Very elegant and quite unpredictable. Its calmness and class are particular, and we heavily suggest to pay attention to its vibes. After a quick “darker” transition, the buildup presents us the second drop. Even more explosive and fonky, what a delightful job!
With this collaborative release, the two labels and the two artists dropped a lovely tune. We hope to see more collaborations like this in future!
