The electro track of today is a superb exotic bomb by Kristianex and Gustaf Bjornberg! Both from Sweden, the two guys teamed up to release “Drymarchon”!

First of all, I must say that the song is 9 months old, but I really liked the drop so I decided to review it anyway. Second, the title is really curious so I searched its meaning.

I’m proud to teach you that “Drymarchon” is a genus of large nonvenomous colubrid snakes, commonly known as indigo snakes. From a person who doesn’t like snakes, this is slightly disappointing, but what we care about here is music. And the song, trust me, is really really good!

Let’s start with the drop. Those chords, the stunning melody, the unusual rhythm, reminded me an old track I used to listen, but better. I’m talking about “Ardor” by Michael Brun, No Regular and Pessto. It was an amazing and unique song, with a particular drop. Well, Kristianex & Gustaf Bjornberg made something similar, but more electro and less minimal.

I love it.

“Drymarchon” has a catchiness and a frenetic energy that left me speechless. Even the break, with its simple scheme, is really efficient and hypnotized me with its ingenious melody. That’s the analogy with the snake’s genus: the lead seems slightly “Indian”, so… I don’t want to be racist, but every track related with “Snakes” has that kind of lead. Which is really catchy, in my opinion!

So, I hope you will appreciate “Drymarchon” as much as I did! Once again I decided to share something unique and interesting!
