• Attention absorbing beat
• Catchy vocals, befitting the tone
• Unanticipated and relaxing atmosphere
I, personally, didn’t know who Lamliki was. His tracks were unheard by me, but my first contact with him was thanks to Spotify’s adept algorithm, when this very creation appeared at the top of my daily playlist. I heard it and immediately fell in love with it. so I hastily turned my computer on to look at the whereabouts of him. His website, even though in my native tongue of Spanish, was all I got. This enigmatic producer gave us an uncut gem which probably is one of the most original songs I heard this year.
The introduction might have gotten a bit extended, as there is this indiscernible mystery behind him that is very intriguing. Jokes apart, “Feel Blue” is a trap song which reminds me instantly of Jon Hopkins and his “Breathe This Air”. l was allured to that song and I must say the same about this one too. The vocals fit perfectly with the rhythm of the track, while the instrumental delicately balances between sublime pianoforte and a breakbeat groove, which in turn creates a captivating atmosphere. The synergy demonstrated between Lamliki´s composition and Reina Blava’s voice is admirable to greater ends!
Lamliki has made a wonderful single, and, even if I unfortunately felt that some segments were predictable, the power is restored much thanks to the incredible vocal performance from Reina Blava. A huge recommendation for everyone who is desperate for some chill and laid-back vibes. Underrated stuff certainly, fantastic job!
