I know Chantaro for quite a long time, and I always really loved what he produces. I don’t think many of you know him, but you should check out his other tracks.
‘Kangaroo’, ‘Winter Breeze’, ‘Tank Attack’, ‘Deep Soul’, those tracks are all very different but all have such a unique sound. Now, he decided to remix “Crazy Feet”, which was a good idea.
In this remix, we can hear the aggressive side from him, with a very cool groovy synth during the breakdown. It fits very well with the vocoder… I personally think that the particularity in that moment and in the full track is that the melody is way too loud for the vocoder. The lyric of the vocal is hardly understandable, and it’s a pity because if the sound of the melody was lowered, the vocoder could have had more impact.
After that, the break makes the transition between this groovy melody and the drop. And it is very energetic if you ask me.
The drop is also crazy as hell, the kick of it is incredible and the main synth sounds very good. It is nearly the same as in the breakdown part, but it has still been changed enough to be catchy and impressive.
The build-up is interesting too, especially in the first part, we can finally hear more the vocoder. And this trap-like beat in the background is very unexpected and well mixed! The melody’s evolution is very interesting and when the second break appears, the whole result becomes catchier.
To conclude, I have to say that I really love this track! This is the fact that the vocoder and melody aren’t totally well mixed that makes this weird at some moments but that’s it. The drop is incredibly powerful and refreshing, and that’s what I like to hear. Even if the artist still needs to improve, that’s not a perfect track, but I wanted to share with you an example of enjoyable music.
So congrats to NikiMoscow and Chantaro!
