84/100
• Frenetic structure, combining creativity with dynamism
• Classic Rudelies acid lead
• Bouncy as expected
“Future Room” is kinda like a new EDM genre which fuses aggressive big room vibes with the future bounce structure. We like it, as is evident through our various reviews of bangers by talents like Debris, Dirty Palm and Rudelies. Today we will speak about the last name, and how he finally got some recognition from Revealed.
It has been years since we put our eyes over the Swedish ex-duo (now a Kristaps Cerps solo project). His style is fresh, catchy, bouncy and entertaining. You will quickly notice it while listening to “Shotgun,” his brand new release on Revealed.dj.
Being honest, “Shotgun” doesn’t follow the Rudelies classic structure, but adds more frenetic Electro house vibes. Being more “Revealed-oriented,” we can understand why this one was chosen. Nonetheless, it’s an excellent musical composition, with personality and a massive amount of power.
You can feel some signature Rudelies vibes in the main acid lead and the melodic structure, both creative and well produced. The melody is pretty catchy in our opinion; it merely keeps getting stuck in our hears: Rudelies is very talented in this specific sector. The bassline in particular, with a stable dose of hitting percussions. The following breakdown is a standard big room one, with a catchy melody and the ability to keep the dynamism level high.
“Shotgun” is not a “100% Rudelies style” tune, and we are happy about it. He kept his imprint while focusing on a genre that Revealed fans would surely like. That’s called adaptation. Dynamic production, capable of balancing creativity with a generous dose of aggressiveness… For us, it’s one of the best releases of this year from the Revealed sub-label.
We are sure that more and more EDM lovers will finally notice the ability of this talented artist.
