After some experimental “Discovery Talents” reviews, I’m back with a strong big room banger!
Ignacio Bunster dropped an impressive acid track, called “Rumors”, and I really wanted to show it to you!
The energetic tune has been released by Octay Records, a new Chilean label that I really suggest to follow because it’s not the first time that surprises me. I was already aware of Ignacio’s talent too (I’ve reviewed his banger “Collateral“)!
Anyway, the break style of the producer is immediately clear, because it hits you after few seconds. The melody is catchy, the vocal, in the background, impressed me positively, so… I’m honestly glad to call it “a really nice break”. While listening to it different times, I discovered the complexity of the melody, quite impressive. Then, we have a long buildup section, that does its work in a perfect way.
The drop is the part that impressed me definitively. The lead is pretty generic, Ignacio Bunster is still very connected to the electro scene schemes, without any super creative ideas, but his skills are superlatives!
His style reminds me Maddix music, with the double-lead scheme and an acid-electro mood, but slightly more melodic. Sure, not the most original song of the month, but I really enjoyed it!
The percussions are majestic, “Rumors” has some crazy bouncing vibes.
So, in conclusion, I really suggest taking a listen to “Rumors”. That’s a good release, I can’t wait to see the next surprises from Octay and Ignacio!
