I was expecting something more from those guys, but “Showdown” is a nice tune!
The new Revealed release is a wild electro banger, full of enthusiasm and aggressiveness. Maddix and Loax teamed up and showed the world what two of the most promising talents of the scene can do.
The drop is pretty nice, but… Predictable.
Sure, the break is fresh, but the drop was exactly what I was expecting: Maddix acid lead, Loax drums, an electro atmosphere. It reminds me “Fauda” by Maddix, the scheme is really similar. The detail I loved the most is that quick arabic melody used as fill, absolutely genial. A good part, but I’ve heard better drops from them!
A really nice idea is the break’s one. I wasn’t expecting such n aggressive atmosphere, almost rawstyle. I personally think that it’s a good sign, a normal big room break should have been too generic!
I am curious to see if the two producers will develop this hardstyle element… For now, it’s really artistic and entertaining!
It starts in a mysterious way, with an aggressive one-shot loop and some crazy orchestral drums (probably a Loax idea). and this nice hybrid between a Maddix lead and a hard kick. Extremely interesting!
The buildup is pretty uninteresting, while the second drop amazed me more than the first, thanks to the hype that the break created.
In the end, Maddix and Loax made their job, without exaggerating. “Showdown” is a good track, but its drop lacks that special detail that I was expecting. I’m pretty satisfied, though.
What do you think?
