Avancada vs Darius & Finlay – Xplode (Grahham Bell & Yoel Lewis Remix)

“Xplode”, one of the best tracks from Armind, is finally out! I remember Armin playing it at various festivals as an ID, I was extremely hyped for this remix. Finally, the original track came out, which happened to be a production of Avancada and Dalan & Finley. The primary version itself has two versions, an electro variant from Avancada and an hardstyle one from Dalan & Finley.

Both good, sure, but my attention was focused on this remix!

In fact, my favorite “Xplode” version is the amazing remix from the renowned Trance duo Yoel Lewis and Grahham Bell.

The original track itself got released on Armada, and has got many appreciations for its impressive melody… But Yoel Lewis and Grahham Bell have taken this to another step further! They have given the perfect remix for Armind. The track has somehow a bit of resemblance to how a hypothetical W&W (NWYR) and Armin’s collab might sound, and that’s what I think makes things even better!

“Xplode” starts with a ferocious drop, which has kinda the same sound as W&W drop synths on “If It Ain’t Dutch“. It still it sums up a huge amount of energy with fast paced electro bassline and synth riffs. Very imposing drop, without a shadow of a doubt.

The breakdown is where the magic happens. Again, it has analogous elements to “If It Ain’t Dutch”, as it starts with a piano, playing some emotional chords, building tension in the atmosphere.Pads and strings in backdrop make the tension even stronger. Soon, a brief moment of silence befalls as the supersaw synths drop down. Then, the original melody from the track comes up but in trance supersaws! Piercing the atmosphere with razor sharp saws, the riser comes in gliding into the second hulking and full of stamina drop.

The second drop hits even harder with electro bassline impacting with full force, just giving away to the supersaws to play the original melody. It still it does a perfect job in bringing up a momentous amount of energy!

Final thoughts on this one would be that it’s really an unavoidable track, and if you haven’t listened to it yet, don’t waste a moment further and listen to it. Huge remix by Yoel Lewis and Grahham Bell!
